Ghislain De Wilde exhibits in the White Village
We are delighted to announce that artist Ghislain De Wilde, member of the ArtChurchRochus collective, will be participating in “Beelden in het Witte Dorp” (Sculptures in the White Village) in Lissewege this summer.
From 20 June to 21 September 2025, this picturesque white village near Bruges will be the setting for a special open-air exhibition. More than 100 national and international artists will display their recent sculptures in dialogue with the surroundings – from the church and parsonage garden to the abbey site and far beyond.
The sculpture route runs from the historic site of Ter Doest to the picturesque Lisseweegs Vaartje, winding its way through the entire village. You will discover sculptures in surprising places – in the heart of the village, between whitewashed facades, in the greenery and in the centuries-old church.
