Gust Holvoet

Mixed Media

G. Holvoet leads the characteristically unconventional life of a contemporary artist. Inspired by painting, colour, upcycling and recycling, as well as his own neighbourhood, he has created a unique oeuvre. His highly recognisable personal style is based on furniture and organic lines. G. Holvoet works with recycled materials, plays with special lighting and with left and right. Like no other, Holvoet knows how to manipulate a particularly wide range of materials in an imaginative way and to give them a place in the creative process through innovative methods. In this way, he constantly pushes conventional boundaries. Get in touch for more details on his creative process and work in progress.

G. Holvoet was selected as an exhibitor for the art fair Lille Art Up! 2025.

LINDA ROOSENS

Mixed Media

Linda Roosens was born and raised in Brussels. Twenty years ago, she swapped her native region for Kortrijk. She took no specific art training but discovered her creative talent three years ago and built on her feelings and intuition.

She started with abstract works with acrylic paint, grew into experimenting with texture and materials (sand, silver paper, plastic) and currently enjoys working with plaster. Her works often deal with very recognisable emotions: sadness, time, vulnerability, falling in love, getting older. Through her art, Roosens wants to share her story, hoping that her work will resonate with others and become a source of comfort and recognition.

LindaRoosensArt, that is texture, emotion, symbolism, passion, authenticity and confrontation.

Linda was selected as an exhibitor for the art fair Lille Art Up! 2025.

Barmal

Expressionism - Surrealism

An established artist in our selection, this visionary has created some of our favourite contemporary works. Barmal's work is created by drawing inspiration from people and the community they live in. He is described as unconventional and his work is being referred to as the ‘art of tomorrow’. Art is in his genes. Barmal studied at the Nikolad School and achieved the highest award for his work. In 1999, he drew the attention of international critics at an exhibition in Kortrijk. Since then, his work has been shown in Berlin, Kassel, Paris and London. For our artist community, it is important that we can attract people with such a background....

RONNY ARRYN

Ceramics

With this ceramic project, Ronny Arryn pays tribute to the beauty of women, which he immortalises in ceramics.  He is self-taught, having started only a few years ago, and he wants to work uninhibitedly with multiple techniques, different types of clay and many glazes or paints.  To the artisanal reproduction in clay of a part of the female body, he always tries to add an artistic touch, either in form or colour.  By doing so, he wants to express that beauty is in every woman and can be expressed with some self-awareness.  And immortalised in ceramics.  He emphasises that it is not always meant to be serious, and he occasionally tries to bring something lighthearted or playful into the work.  As is also intrinsic to life. Besides the women's torsos in ceramics, he has also created an extensive collection of ceramic bowls.  He calls them ‘the bowls with the feminine curves’, thus sticking to his theme.

MORT AMOUR

Photography art

Bart Moeyaert and Patrick Vanryckeghem are 2 art photographers who have been working together under the name MortAmour for quite some time.
As the name of the artist collective already suggests, in their photographs a link to love and death is never far away. The photographs tell a story about beauty, but also about the fragility of life and the need to treat nature with care. Animals that have died a natural death are portrayed together with photo models in a unique and artistic way. This does not exclude the use of painting on the body and other techniques. In this way, the dead animals are given a second life, so to speak. The work brought by MortAmour is unprecedented. They manage to amaze the art scene with their new creations every time.

GHISLAIN DE WILDE

Mixed media, clay, ceramics, lead, steel

For more than eighty years, Ghislain DE WILDE has been walking around our globe, in a world that is very complex for him. Always looking for all kinds of beautiful forms, he tries, seemingly simple and amusing, but really driven, to savour beauty with a
deep core. Not just the beauty of the ‘things’ around us but also the beauty of the ‘human beings’ around us, to whom we owe the best and the finest.
Having trained at the Oudenaarde, Zottegem and Kortrijk art academies, he emerged as a versatile artist.
By both working and processing, from ‘clay’ to austere simple ceramic structures; from ‘lead’ to spheres, sculptures and cogwheels ; from ‘Corten steel and steel’ .... to monumental works, he achieves valuable works through his craft and stylistic knowledge. We also know Ghislain as a painter in ‘organic matter painting’. His mixed-media technique is richly varied. He regularly participated in exhibitions at home and abroad with paintings and sculptures.
