This work is an orange-painted frame – made of plaster - with no canvas. A painting without a painting. It confronts the viewer with an empty space, offering only the outline. inviting the viewer to search for meaning in the void. Like looking into a mirror and seeing nothing, it reflects the unsettling feeling of invisibility, of being unseen — of expecting presence but finding absence instead. The vibrant orange contrasts with the hollow center, amplifying the tension between form and emptiness, presence and erasure, material presence and emotional absence. It is not what you see, but what you don’t, that speaks loudest. What’s missing becomes the message: absence made visible.
